DESCRIPTION:WestSound Brewers has scheduled a pub crawl of the Tacoma Brewery District for June 10\, 2023\, a Saturday. The brewery district includes 7 Seas Brewery (opens at 11 AM)\, Camp Colvos (opens at noon)\, E9 Brewing (opens at noon)\, Sig Brewing (opens at noon)\, and Black Fleet Brewing (opens at 3 PM). Incline Cider (opens at noon) is another option for those who also enjoy a good cider. The first four breweries have food options. \n\n\n\nRegarding transportation: there is bus service from Tacoma Community College to downtown Tacoma. Pierce Transit Bus #2 runs from a park and ride on campus at South 19th and Mildred Street. The parking lot is free and there are security cameras. The bus cost is $2 each way and exact change is required. If you choose to ride the bus\, your stop will be S 19th and Market. From the corner look to your right\, you will see 7 Seas Brewery. \n\n\n\nIf you choose to drive to Tacoma\, you will find free parking on the streets in the Brewery District on Jefferson and C Street and on other streets. I drove through the streets that people would park on and saw no signs of broken glass indicating car prowls. I also talked to Camp Colvos workers and people who frequently visit the district and they said they have had no car prowl issues recently. \n\n\n\nPeople are encouraged to car pool and communicate via cell phones to hook-up if you are unable to join the kick-off at 7 Seas at 11 AM.
